Hi! My name is John Paull. Most people call me JP. I started Uptrend to connect companies in need of great service providers and products, with those providers. It’s hard for a small business that’s good at doing its job to worry about sorting out all the digital service providers that are available in the market. How do they know how to access the great providers who are just right for their unique needs? Additionally, there are so many web development companies that are really good at doing one or two specific things. Small businesses might need those one or two things, but they also might need three or four additional services. Many times, businesses get trapped because they double-down on one service provider because it’s “easier” than searching out which service providers might be a better fit for those specific needs. In those cases, everyone suffers. The service provider takes on work that it isn’t passionate about because it wants to keep the client, and the client suffers because the work the service provider is doing isn’t work that they excel at. My strength is to identify the need and match the appropriate provider

The people that I want to work and engage with are passionate about doing something special. Building a store, building web applications, being a really good lawyer, being a really good dentist, doctor, etc.
Because there are lots of people that are really passionate about something. I want to help those people build businesses that let them focus on what they do best. Many things can distract from the main focus of a business. Between marketing, advertising, sales, HR, application development etc., there is a lot for a business owner to know. I want to take some of those things and offload them from the business so that they can focus on what they do best.

My strength and passion is to help businesses make the best choices when it comes to web marketing and information technology. Sometimes, the correct answer is to purchase software off the shelf; other times, it’s custom development. I can help you with both! My goal is to be a versatile source of knowledge, a guide for finding the right providers, and help make sure your dollars are spent with the best return on investment.
